Kate Winslet to receive honorary French 'Cesar'

Kate Winslet is set to receive an honorary Cesar award, which is the French equivalent of an Oscar, next month in Paris.

She will be presented the honour by Roman Polanski, who has directed her recent release 'Carnage', the BBC reported.

Previous recipients of the award include Quentin Tarantino, who received it last year, and Meryl Streep, Spike Lee, Jean-Luc Goddard and Ingrid Bergman.

French actor-director Guillaume Canet will preside over the annual awards on 24 February. (ANI)
