Newly signed Kaizer Chiefs winger Keagan Dolly admits he is looking forward to reacquainting himself with Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro.
The trio formed a formidable front three, known to the soccer fraternity as "CBD", at Mamelodi Sundowns, which saw them claim a PSL title, Telkom Knockout and the CAF Champions League.
After leaving Chloorkop, Dolly spent five seasons at French Ligue 1 side Montpellier and had the chance to remain in Europe but opted for a return to South Africa.
Amakhosi confirmed the arrival of Dolly on Tuesday afternoon, along with Cole Alexander, as the club completed their 10th signing ahead of the new season after serving a two-year transfer window ban.
Speaking to the club's media department, Dolly said he was excited about the prospect of lining up alongside Billiat and Castro again, but this time in the Amakhosi colours.
"We're still quite close," the former Ajax Cape Town midfielder said.
"We speak quite often, myself and Khama [especially], and it's exciting times to play with them again.
"I always thought that we had a good connection back when we played together at Sundowns.
"Hopefully, now we can bring all that we've learned throughout the last couple of seasons at our different clubs and come back together and work hard for the team, score more goals and just encourage each other."
"I'm close to a lot of these players," he added.
"We've spent a couple of camps at Bafana level together.
"I think I will feel right at home because I know a lot of the players who are part of the team, and they will make it easier for me to settle in."
