HANGZHOU, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Four Chinese boxers took victories on Saturday at the Hangzhou Asian Games, with Chang Yuan winning a berth for the 2024 Olympic Games.

Chang, gold medalist at the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games, defeated Huang Hsiao-wen of Chinese Taipei 5-0 in the women's 54kg division to progress to the semifinals, securing a Paris 2024 spot.

Tokyo Olympic silver medalist Li Qian defeated Valentina Khalzova of Kazakhstan to enter the final four in the women's 75kg, but the 33-year-old was not satisfied with her performance.

"I'm not in my best shape. I've been in the Athletes' Village for quite a long time, which affected me somehow. But this match will help me return to form soon," said Li.

"My aim here is simple, just winning the gold medal," she added.

Elsewhere, Lyu Ping defeated Muhammad Qasim of Pakistan in the men's 57kg category to reach the quarterfinals, and Bayikewuzi Danabieke ousted Byeknur Khali of Mongolia to make the semifinals in the men's +92kg division.
